About

How do you do what you do?

So... I would like to welcome you to berry and vine our new blog site at The Grassy Knoll Farm! My name is Teresa, and I am a IV League trained ICU nurse by training- formally an ICU bedside nurse, currently, a nurse executive at a small community hospital, a "mom-in-training" to a smart, empathetic, lovely five year old girl named Ella, a part time farmer, a part time baker, a part time entrepreneur with my husband in the business of farming and most recently, a part time blogger. Whew! That is a mouth full!

It is also incredibly busy, entertaining, frustrating, exhausting and wonderful all at the same time! I wouldn't trade it for the world, but there are times when I wonder how I am doing it all. Apparently, those same thoughts have crossed other peoples minds as well! There is hardly a weekend that goes by at the Farm Store that someone, a new customer, or a regular comments "How do you do all this? Where do you find the time? Do you sleep?". One thing is for sure, I need to get some good zzz's each night or the whole thing would fall apart. I also need some good family time away from the farm, and I need some me time- yoga every week and walking with my friend in our little town certainly help me stay sane, focused and driven- because managing to do all this takes a certain something! I'm not sure that I am perfect at it, but I would love to share with you how we do what we do, how I do what I do, all for the benefit of our family our friends and our neighbors.

So, I hope that you join us on this journey!

Thanks,

Teresa Fuller
